La conservación desde otro punto de vista

Conservation from another perspective We believe in local and collaborative action. Through our Fundación Azul Marino, we are committed to education, technology, and innovation to protect, preserve, and enhance the extraordinary biodiversity of the Mediterranean Sea and the SCI zone that surrounds us. United, we build a tomorrow where the sea continues to be a source of life, beauty, and well-being for all.

Some of our projects include studying the evolution and regeneration of Posidonia oceanica meadows, and the tagging (visual, acoustic, and/or satellite) of recovered species that we release back into the sea, to study their survival and distribution habits.

We host staff from the Fundación Oceanogràfic at our facilities to support their marine animal rescue efforts, particularly in collaboration with the professional fishing sector. Among other species, they recover sea turtles, seahorses, gorgonians, sharks and rays, all from the Mediterranean Sea.
