Oropesa del Mar (Castellón). Bosque Masía Bellver is preparing a unique experience around the total solar eclipse on 12 August, one of the most eagerly awaited astronomical events of the century. Castellón, chosen by Spain’s Centre for Sociological Research (CIS) as the country’s favourite destination to watch it, has not experienced an eclipse of this kind since 1905 and will not do so again until the next century. The experience will combine science communication, art and gastronomy in a setting surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, facing the sea.

Part of the Bellver Blue Tech Zone ecosystem, this natural enclave goes beyond conventional leisure formats to establish itself as a meeting point focused on holistic wellbeing, innovation and community. Once the total phase is over, the light will return alongside an iconic musical remix, leading into a performance by Academia Tempo Castellón and a live concert by the band Sin Bikini. This cultural programme will be complemented by a gastronomic offering and themed beers, rounding off a day in which the forest offers both shelter and spectacle.
